KYLIE MINOGUE GIVES MAJOR CAREER UPDATE OVER WHERE SHE'LL END POP DAYS

Kylie Minogue has suggested she could end her pop days in Las Vegas after being offered a lifetime residency.

The singer, 56, released new single My Oh My on Thursday, and has also teased an album and tour. She confirmed Las Vegas could be where she ends her career, as stars including Elvis Presley have done.

"They have offered me a lifelong residency," she said, of Voltaire, part of The Venetian resort, where she played from November 2023 to May this year. "Let's see, I might do the classic and end up there. It was brilliant. The shows got crazier. It was what I hoped it would be. It was a cross between a 70s cabaret club and Studio 54 – people got quite wild."

Kylie spoke about her new single, which is a collaboration with US singer Bebe Rexha and Swedish star Tove Lo, to The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on Radio 2. It is likely she will perform the track for the first time at BST Hyde Park in London, as the headline act on Saturday. "Anything I've done at Hyde Park, people are in such a good mood. I can't wait," she said.

Her smash hit Padam Padam scored a No1 in the UK last summer and the Australian star went on to perform at Las Vegas. Other stars with recent residencies include Katy Perry and Adele.

Kylie is said to be writing an autobiography, which will cover her early TV career on Neighbours as well as past loves, and beating breast cancer. She is also set to star in a Netflix documentary series. Looking back on her 40-year career last month, Kylie said: "There are certain moments where I think, 'Oh, God, how to keep it up?' But for the most part it's giving energy to create energy. I just have to colour the hair more often!"
